  34.        Ghostscript.

  36.        If you are installing this product for the first time, the
  37.        subsystems marked ``default'' are the ones that are
  38.        installed if you use the ``go'' menu item.  To install a
  39.        different set of subsystems, use the ``install,''
  40.        ``remove,'' ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
  41.        customize the list of subsystems to be installed, then
  42.        select the ``go'' menu item.

  44.        Note:  The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to

  76.        All of the subsystems for Ghostscript can be installed using
  77.        IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to _I_R_I_X
  78.        _A_d_m_i_n: _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _a_n_d _L_i_c_e_n_s_i_n_g for complete
  79.        installation instructions.

  83.        Your workstation must be running at least release IRIX
  84.        6.5.23 in order to use Ghostscript due to the dependency on
  85.        the new x_eoe.sw.Artifex_fonts subsystem.

  87.        2.5  _C_o_m_p_a_t_i_b_i_l_i_t_y

  89.        This version of Ghostscript may not work with the version of
  90.        Ghostscript that ships with the Freeware distribution.

  92.        2.6  _C_o_n_f_i_g_u_r_a_t_i_o_n__F_i_l_e_s
  93.  
  94.        The file /_u_s_r/_s_h_a_r_e/_g_h_o_s_t_s_c_r_i_p_t/_8._1_1/_l_i_b/_F_o_n_t_m_a_p._G_S is used
  95.        by the Ghostscript product to define the fonts installed on
  96.        the system.  This file is configured based on the fonts SGI
  97.        ships with IRIX.  If you install other fonts on your system
  98.        you may need to modify this file.
